The train journey

Train journey in itself is fascinating. One can see all sorts of peculiar things . I myself have traveled through train during my college time. My greatest achievement has been surviving through the general compartments several times. Its nothing to be amazed about. Its quite common in college life. The cheapest and most entertaining means of transport.
You can smell pakoras,samosas and all kinds of fried items, sometimes chutney dripping over u, cold drink wala chai wala all trying to make business in the same tiny little compartment. Its amazing if u notice how much food can be consumed in so little time just because its all happening in train. The mere fact of their being in train justifies their eating all sorts of nonsense which otherwise they neither would see nor think bout.
How people survive the horrendous time and moments and actually enjoy them by adding fun elements they discover in those moments. The scenery outside, the faces of new ppl, the fact that they are on wheels ..... U can see ppl bored, children screaming, couples admiring, guys oogling, girls makin faces at others, oldies relaxing or very troubled ppl singing sellin stuff to make some money to eat a single meal. A real life's all stages woven into those few moments.
I ve heard ppl meet n make friends forever, couple fight n never meet again, all at and in same place ... A train.

Around VITU!!!(places u never knew)

Its been 2 yrs since i joined VIT..n made lots of frns!!
Ppl who are at VIT or wanna go definitely need this info coz this is all about wat all is der to c n check out
In short i mean places to see!! n enjoy


Ok so the first n nearest place is .. vellore fort with boating,museum,temple(which in general ull find out)but well there's a place called "delgian"(don know how t spell) which is a cool place to discover n wander,its shaded n sort of secret place!! but our gang definitely doesnt leave anything unexplored!!!
its been fun coz we played loads of game der.. u c(dumb charades,passin n all)its much fun wen it starts to rain while u r der!!


Hmm.. second nearest place.. i would say is temple near ranipet.. which is nothin special except for the fact dat it is built on a rock.. n if u don go by d straight road u can do some rock climbing but careful!! the guards might chase u out.. swearin to send u to jail(he he)

The next is fun part its a water park which seems to be quite insignificant but if u r in a group then this insignificance turns into wonders!! The park is again near ranipet.. n is called "Green thunder" it has 2 pools with some slides n some non water rides too!! u ll definitely enjoy it in hot vellore!!


Ok now we go to not so near ones!! The beautiful "golden temple" as it is called.. it is quite a copy of the original temple n is real gold.. it even has water surrounding it n all the sculptures are beautifully carved.. u may ve to stand n go around for 2 hrs if u go durin rush hours.. it has quite a security n the best thing is ,.. it is all systematic.. ull definitely love it!!



Next we have a hill station which is a bit far.. around 100 kms!! from vellore n ders is no direct bus!! its called" the yelagiri hills" a beautiful place.. theres a lake wr u can have fun while boating..
in case u are adventurous u should definitely go trekking!! it ll even give u an experience of rock climbing!!this is a view from the top!!


Then next ders forest called "amirthi forest" which is worth exploring, there's waterfall.. n trees!!
